- If you do not already own a pair of tap shoes, have no fear! We provide tap shoe rentals for the reason that our Kinder Combo tap session is only eight weeks.
- An additional $15 fee will be added to your account if tap shoes are not returned by the due date or are returned damaged beyond repair.

Recital Photos — optional
May 31st-June 1st, 2025
- All dancers will participate in their group photo. It is optional to purchase your group photo.
- It is your choice to have an individual photo of your child taken in their costume.
- Rates are set and processed at the discretion of the professional photography company. Rates can vary between $40-$200 depending on how many photos you wish to purchase.
Tuition per student — Includes GST
Due September 1st, November 15th, February 1st and April 15th
- Refundable or creditable for the remainder of the tuition term the child is not participating in.
- Please see our tuition rates below. We calculate your tuition based on the weekly hours your child dances and divide that into quarterly payments.
- Your child’s weekly class/es: Teacher, progressive lesson plan and equipment.
- Spirit Weeks: Halloween, Christmas and other fun celebrations – treats and fun activities throughout the season.
- Parent Appreciation: Live feed TVs of all four classrooms playing in our downstairs and upstairs lounges. Tea/coffee and treats available for you in our downstairs lounge, no need to ask, please help yourself!
- Wifi for students to use for homework and your own personal needs while your child is in class.
- Sanitation of equipment used in class.
- Studio deep clean three times a week with a professional cleaning company.
- Consistent front desk hours and administration team to take care of your family throughout the dance year.
- Insurance and SOCAN fees

Payment Options:
You will receive email reminders for upcoming fees 14 days, 7 days, 3 days and 1 day prior to their due date.
Tuition is prorated for scheduled studio closures: National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Remembrance Day, Family Day, Good Friday and Easter Weekend. Tuition is not prorated for Winter Break and Spring Break; these have already been accounted for in your tuition.
A credit or refund will not be issued if there are unforeseen studio closures or unexpected class cancellations: inclement weather, teacher illness, highway closures (travelling teachers), emergency and other unforeseen events.
A credit or refund will not be issued for missed classes due to student absence.
It is imperative that tuition and all other fees are paid on time so that we can continue to serve you best! If we feel it is appropriate, overdue fees will accrue a late fee of 15% per 30 days to the family’s account if fees remain unpaid without communication. You can find your payment due dates on our calendar which is located in this handbook, on our website and posted in our lobby. You can also call, email or visit our front desk, as well as in your ONLINE ACCOUNT which you can log into anytime, anywhere.

Withdrawal
Withdrawal must be submitted by email to Squamish Dance Centre. Word of mouth or student absence is not considered notification. Tuition is refundable or creditable for the remainder of the tuition term your child is not participating in AT TIME OF WRITTEN NOTIFICATION. Refunds will not be available for classes missed prior to notification of withdrawal. Example: Your child missed class on March 2nd and 9th…. You notify us on March 13th that your child is withdrawing…. You will be refunded/credited starting the date of March 13th. Registration and Recital fees are not refundable.
- Auto-Pay Credit Card: Visa/MasterCard (additional processing fees will be added) saved to account will be automatically charged owing amounts 10-14 days before due dates.
- Manual Credit Card: Manually pay by Visa/MasterCard (additional processing fees will be added) through your studio account, calling in or visiting our front desk.
- E-transfer to: [email protected]
- Cheque: Payable to SDC and handed in prior to the due date.
- Cash: Visit our reception during front desk hours to pass over a cash payment.
