Community Building Events

At Squamish Dance Centre, we are so much more than dance! We believe in building community where everyone can make connections and shine in their truest form!! Our community building events provide the opportunity for dancers and their families to connect outside of their regular dance training regime, let loose and have good old fashioned fun! 

UPCOMING EVENTS

September 28th — Movie Night

• Everyone is welcome, it is not required to be a SDC family to join the fun!
• 4:00pm-6:00pm ages 3-7yrs (attending children must be potty trained) and 6:30pm-8:30pm ages 8+yrs.
  
• No reservations or tickets required. Entry is by donation, cash only. Popcorn and childcare included.

October 27th — Halloween Party & Haunted House

• Everyone is welcome, it is not required to be a SDC family to join the fun!
• Doors open 12:00pm and close at 4:00pm.
• No reservations or tickets required. Entry is by donation, cash only. 
• Games, contests, glow room, colouring & activity station, haunted house and more!

November 23rd — Movie Night

• Everyone is welcome, it is not required to be a SDC family to join the fun!
• Doors open 6:00pm, movie starts at 6:15pm and pick up is at 8:00pm.
• No reservations or tickets required. Entry is by donation, cash only. Popcorn and childcare included.
• All Movie Night proceeds go to the Squamish Community Christmas Care.

December 8th — Holiday Craft Fair: fundraiser for Squamish Community Christmas Care

• Everyone is welcome, it is not required to be a SDC family to join the fun!
• Doors open 12:00pm-4:00pm.
• No reservations or tickets required. Drop in anytime!
• Over 18 vendor tables, kids craft corner, letter to Santa station and more!
• Silent Auction with all proceeds going to the Squamish Community Christmas Care.

March 15th — Studio Sleepover

• This event is for SDC dancers only who are 9+ years old.
• 6:00pm-8:00am March 16th
• Our Studio Sleepover is free, a gift from SDC to participating dance families.
  
• Reservations are required. Stay tuned for the link.

March 30th — Tea Party

• Everyone is welcome, it is not required to be a SDC family to join the fun!
• We have two seating times, 11:00am-12:30pm and 2:00pm-3:30pm.
  
• Tickets and table reservations are required. Stay tuned for the link.
• Full service, select your seats, table settings, dress your best, hosted social hour, treat platters, tea menu, 1.5hrs of magical memories.

June 24th — Grad Dinner

• This event is for SDC dancers in the 2025 graduation class only.
• 6:00pm-8:00pm
• Dinner is complimentary, a gift from SDC to Grads.
