Our Adult Program is where humans 18+yrs have their chance to shine! Whether you are new to dance, are returning after a few years off or have been dancing non stop for all of your life, you'll surely have a magical time! With sessional classes, performance classes and competitive classes to choose from, there is something for everyone! Please see below our current adult class offerings.
PERFORMANCE HIP HOP
Wednesdays 8:30pm-9:30pm

Class Structure
Our Performance Hip Hop class focuses on center grooves, across the floor progressions, building on steps and learning recital choreography after the Winter Break. This class will be a bit more chill and social than our Competitive Hip Hop class.

May 30th, 2026 – Rehearsal at Howe Sound Secondary School
May 31st, 2026 – Recital at Howe Sound Secondary School
Attendance
Since this class is not competing, there is flexibility and forgiveness with absences, but consistent attendance is appreciated.

COMPETITIVE HIP HOP

Class Structure
Our Competitive Hip Hop class focuses primarily on learning and perfecting choreography all season long leading up to competitions. While there will be skill development, this class will focus on rehearsing its competition routine and making minor changes to choreography as necessary.

February 21st, 2026 – Competitive Showcase at Kay Meek Arts Centre
April 8th-12th, 2026 – Dance Power Competitive at Michael J Fox Theatre (exact performance day/time tba)
April 29th-May 3rd, 2026 – Evolve Dance Competition at Centennial Theatre (exact performance day/time tba)
May 30th, 2026 – Rehearsal at Howe Sound Secondary School
May 31st, 2026 – Recital at Howe Sound Secondary School
Attendance
Since this class is focusing on competition, consistent attendance and participation is required. We will be closely monitoring Competitive Hip Hop attendance; missing more than three Competitive Hip Hop classes may result in being removed from the choreography.
